International Paid Survey Websites
Be rewarded for completing surveys online
There are a large number of websites that will reward you for taking part in market research surveys and for giving your opinion on new or existing products. Rewards can come in the form of cash, vouchers, points redeemable for either vouchers or cash, or entries into prize draws. These sites are free to join and you receive rewards for completing surveys online, or optionally by telephone, post, or in discussion groups. On signing up, normally all that is required of you is that you complete your profile as fully as you are able or willing to in order to increase your chances of receiving surveys to complete.
Most surveys are completable within 30 minutes.
You can learn more about how online survey sites work by reading our
paid surveys guide. It should hopefully help you to understand more about how these websites operate, why they exist and what benefits and rewards you can hope to receive when participating in the online surveys that they send you.
These sites will not make you rich overnight, but they will provide you with some fun, a chance to air your opinion and possibly test products, and some extra money/vouchers to do with as you please. The more paid survey sites you join the more rewards you could receive. Don't forget to read each site's terms and conditions. We have listed below what we consider to be the best and also not so good international paid survey sites and online consumer opinion and market research panels.
If you have any comments about these reviews or would like to suggest another site to be considered for inclusion on this page please let us know.
New International Paid Survey Sites Reviewed
Pay Per Post
Pay Per Post - is a site where you can be paid to blog your opinion about various products, services and websites. You need to have a blog (or start one) and then apply to take on paid opportunities where you review certain products, services or websites that advertisers have requested be reviewed.
The more traffic your blog generates, the greater the earning potential you have. Payment is via paypal in US dollars. A promising site which basically appears to be a paid to review stuff type of site.
Opinion World
Opinion World - is a fun survey site that rewards you with entries into regular prize draws as a thankyou for giving your opinion on a wide range of subjects. There are sometimes opportunities to participate in product testing too. Participation in this online panel also supports a number of charities, where you can choose between three options each time you complete an online survey. You usually also have the opportunity to take part in the sites instant win game where you can win instant prizes, or more often than not, extra entries into the Opinion World prize draws. Occasionally some of the longer surveys will reward you with a payment for completing them fully and successfully. We quite like the site, and we certainly receive lots of opportunities to complete what are normally interesting surveys, however we have to say that the rewards (in terms of various prize draw entries) are not as fulfilling as what you receive on some other sites. Nevertheless it is a popular site and a good way to donate to charity. The surveys are on a wide range of subjects such as films, topical issues, shopping and electronics to name but a few and you never know, you might just win a big prize!
Our Top Three International Paid Survey Sites and Online Opinion Panels
Number 1 - ACOP

ACOP - stands for America Consumer Opinion Panel and is a worldwide panel that distributes online surveys or focus group opportunities which can pay anything between the equivalent of US$4 and US$50. Although invitations to particiapate in surveys can be rare, the rewards are generally much higher than other such sites...making it more than worthwhile spending five minutes just signing up to the site and filling out your profile. You also get paid per survey that you complete and you do not have to build up a certain amount of money before getting paid like other sites sometimes stipulate.
They also have monthly draws to win a prize which all members are part of. Payment is by cheque and normally in your local currency. The site is available in a number of European languages.
Number 2 - Toluna

Toluna - (also formerly known as Test and Vote) is an interesting site that allows you to earn rewards in many ways. For example, you can take online surveys, and participate in quick website polls. Each of these methods accumulates you points which are ultimately exchangeable for vouchers to several popular online retailers or entries into the monthly draw to win 1000 pounds. You decide what to do with your points.
It´s a fun site, has lots of members and you can create your own questions and answer those posed by other users. Survey invitations are presently quite frequent so you should be able to accumulate those points quickly. Surveys take between 5 and 30 minutes to complete.
Number 3 - Global Test Market

Global Test Market - is a global business which awards you 'MarketPoints' for participating fully in surveys you are invited to complete. Upon receiving 1000 of these points (each point at present is worth 5 US cents) you can redeem them and request a cheque (in your local currency). We have received a large number of valuable invitations in a relatively small space of time, but have learned that sometimes you need to be quick in responding as, within hours of the invitation, the survey can be closed once the required number of respondents have replied.
Certainly recommended for the very good rewards offered and interesting survey opportunities, although it can take a little time to get to the payout threshold. One extra positive is that even if you are screened out of a survey you should normally receive a few points for your time and effort.
More International Paid Survey Sites Reviewed
Number 4 - Ciao!

Ciao! - is an international survey website offering easy to take paid surveys which can reward in cash or gifts or entries into their prize draws. We have found that we receive regular invitations to participate (although are often screened out which means we do not qualify for the reward). You accumulate your cash rewards for completed surveys in your account and then can request payout once you reach the stated payment threshold. You can also earn extra money by reviewing products online. The reviews must be of good quality however for you to receive any benefits from them.
There is also a refer-a-friend programme where you can earn small amounts for getting your friends to actively participate in the site.
Number 5 - Spider Metrix

Spider Metrix - is an Australian based survey site which rewards you with spiderpoints for participating in quick online site polls and longer website evaluations and surveys. These are often geographically targetted, and given that it is an Australian panel there are generally more opportunities for Australians and New Zealand, however we have seen surveys directed at some European countries too such as Greece and the site is available to any nationality. Even if you do not get invited to take part in the longer surveys there are frequent one point polls where you can quickly express your opinion on a particular question and then receive a spider point for your time. The points are exchangeable for cash payable via paypal or in the form of a cheque, or gift certificates, or you can choose to donate to charity.
There is also a forum too where you can talk to other site members if you wish to!
Number 6 - Pure Profile

Pure Profile - is an innovative survey website available to everyone. It is a site that mainly rewards you for completing surveys, but also for responding to rare advertiser invitations or infrequent invitations to search for and visit websites found on its search results. You need to create a profile of yourself by following an easy to complete, but rather lengthy, online process. Once created you will receive surveys to complete on the site and you may be notified of offers sent to you by interested businesses which if you view and provide feedback on, will earn you a little extra money too.
You can also periodically (not very frequently these days however) earn small cash amounts by searching for products you are interested in through the site. You can redeem your rewards in cash directly into your bank account once you have earned the necessary amount. You can also receive extra rewards for referring your friends to the site who go on to become active members of the site. It's a fairly good site that is well worth trying out, although recently survey invitations have been a rarity for us, which makes us a little wary of the site going forward. Secondly the site primarily seems to be aimed at UK and Australian residents so you may not receive many opportunities to earn rewards and express your opinion at the moment.
One further important point of note - unlike other survey sites we have found that you generally have to log in to the site in order to know of surveys you are invited to, otherwise you may receive an email notice of their availability.
So we would recommend that you log in every couple of days to check your account.
Number 7 - Survey Savvy

Survey Savvy - is an international provider of paid survey opportunities offering good cash rewards which are paid in US$. The stated average reward for completion of a survey is $3 but we have been offered rewards of between $2 and $20. Each month the site pays $10 to 50 members taken from a pool of those who have not qualified to participate in a survey during that time.
There is no minimum nor maximum payout threshold and all payments are made by cheque. You can also refer friends and family to the site and receive extra rewards based on what they earn when completing surveys themselves. We have only received a few opportunities to complete surveys on this site, but we recommend the site as the potential rewards are very good and the site is professional. Of course whilst the site only pays out in US$ this is a notable disadvantage to those living in the rest of the world.
Number 8 - Global Opinion Panels

Global Opinion Panels - enters you into monthly sweepstakes for participating in short online surveys and also rewards you with points depending on the length and topic of the survey you have completed. You may also receive a few points even if you are screened out and not needed to do the whole survey. We have received just a few opportunities so far in our membership of this site. The site states there may be other opportunities to take part in more lengthy surveys and product testing to which we have yet to be invited.
Indeed since the end of 2007 we have been receiving even fewer opportunites to give our opinion which makes us reluctant to give it our full recommendation at present.
Number 9 - Media Transfer

Media Transfer - invite you to complete surveys by e-mail and then reward you with MT points. Once you have accumulated 100 of these points you can exchange them for Amazon gift vouchers. The rate of conversion is very respectable and after completing a number of surveys you should be able to claim your voucher. It is a good site and the rewards also well worth the time and effort spent on participating in their surveys, but we have to admit that we do not receive too many survey invitations but that may be because of our location and profile.
Number 10 - Juicy Brains Panel

Juicy Brains Panel - is a fun and innovative website that pays you to take part in surveys which are designed to make you think rather than just tick boxes. You can expect to receive perhaps one survey a month and payment is usually made quickly into your account upon completion of each survey. You receive payout once you have earned £5. Method of payout is described in your profile, although at the moment we only have the option of an Amazon gift voucher, which is OK by us. We believe this is a good site for its unique approach to surveys and giving your opinion.
However, it can take a while for your rewards to accumulate and recently survey invitations have become less frequent. We have also experienced the frustration of nearing completion of a survey only for it to crash and thus we did not receive any payment for our efforts. This happens rarely but it is still infuriating. One good feature though that counters that is that it is one of the few sites which will reward you with a small payment even if you do not qualify to fully complete a survey (when you are screened out).
Number 11 - Opinion Square

Opinion Square - is a survey website where you are rewarded with special incentives when you take their surveys, which in our experience thus far have been prize draw entries. The survey we have taken has been interesting and simple to complete. The main focus of this site however is the USA and Canada at present, although anyone can join and they do offer occasional international surveys.
Number 12 - Permission Research

Permission Research - is an international online market research community (especially focusing on the US and Canada market however), which offers entries into its monthly sweepstakes for participation in their programme aimed at improving the internet. As well as these, members can receive points for participating in interesting surveys which are then convertible into a whole array of rewards.
This site monitors internet usage and trends through its software that you have to download and also through online surveys it conducts. It also offers members even more free benefits for taking part in its research such as some free software downloads including fun games, file encryption and decryption software, and email virus protection.
International Paid Survey Sites that we do not currently recommend
These are sites that either appear inactive, untrustworthy or are potential scams.
Number 13 - QSample

QSample - claims to be an international survey website which on the face of it appears to offer good rewards in return for members completing surveys. The site design is a little clumsy and has not been updated in all our time as members of the site. We cannot recommend it until we have received a survey, completed it and received payment for it, and we have been a member for well over two years! It is possibly aimed more at North American users, but we have never received a good report about the site.
Number 14 - Opinionate

Opinionate - states it will pay up to £3.50 for each online survey you complete. When you have earned £10 or more you can request a payout in cash by paypal, or request a voucher from a named high street retailer, or donate your earnings to charity. We have not received a survey from this site for well over a year and a half so we do not recommend joining it at present. It was active when we joined in 2006, but appears to have come to a grinding halt now. We can understand not qualifying for surveys, but it is not credible when a survey invitation is not received for such a long period of time.
Number 15 - MBS Internet

MBS Internet - is an American based site that claims to offer you more survey opportunities. It is a short sign up process and the rewards are said to be in the form of cash, prizes and entries into prize draws. Apparently survey opportunites may include the chance to participate in online focus groups as well as normal e-mail invitation online surveys. We signed up to this site over two years ago and have never received a survey invitation, so we cannot recommend it at all! It could be targetted at a US audience, but the design of the site is poor and has not been updated at all since we joined. One to avoid.
