More Paid Survey Sites in the UK

There are more paid survey site reviews below. Remember, you can learn a little more about how paid surveys work with our paid survey guide. The online panels displayded on this page are, in our opinion, those that do not offer the same value or quality as the best UK paid survey sites shown on the previous page. We have also listed some sites which we consider to be untrustworthy and ones you should avoid.

If you have any comments about these reviews or would like to suggest another site to be considered for inclusion on this page please let us know.

Reasonable UK Paid Survey Sites

Number 14 - Spider Metrix

rated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold stars Spider Metrix - is an Australian based survey site which rewards you "spider" points for participating in quick online site polls and longer website evaluations. These valuations are often geographically targetted so there is no guarantee you will be given one to do, although they already seem to be more frequent since December 2007, but thus far have been generally aimed at Australia, Greece and New Zealand. We have completed one UK survey thus far, but you can earn regular single points by logging in every few days and completing the short site polls that appear on the hour. The points are exchangeable for cash payable via paypal, or gift certificates, or you can choose to donate to charity. There is a forum too where you can talk to other site members. It seems to be a growing site and one we are watching to see how it continues to develop.

Number 15 - Lightspeed Research Panel

rated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold stars Lightspeed research Panel - is an established online research panel with a worldwide presence. With this site you earn points for giving your opinion and fully completing their surveys. These points are exchangeable for cash payments(via paypal) or you can redeem them for a variety of shopping vouchers. Also, for every survey or short site poll you complete, you may receive entries into the prize draw offered by the site. The rewards are certainly reasonable, although they can sometimes take some time to accumulate depending on the number of survey invitations you receive. We have received payment from this site by paypal once and donated to charity through it too. We were recently being cautious about the site due to poor customer service but did improve in our experience and we have also received messages from readers of The Cashback Express which suggest that the Lightspeed Panel is a good site to use. You should be aware though that the site operates a strict anti fraud policy and, if you duplicate accounts or do not complete their surveys accurately and honestly, your account is very likely to be closed without notice or reason. This is fair enough as paid survey sites can only exist if people are willing to invest their time fully and honestly when completing important market research surveys. We have demoted Lightspeed again recently as we have found the survey opportunities have totally dried up. It may just be a case of us not qualifying. Are you still receiving suveys? We are still encouraging our readers to contact us with their opinions of this panel as this review is ongoing.

Number 16 - My Voice

rated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold stars My Voice - is a UK based survey site that rewards you for taking part in surveys and site polls with points. These points are ultimately exchangeable for shopping vouchers (there is a wide choice of voucher available). You must accumulate 2000 points before they can be redeemed for vouchers. 2000 points gives you a £20 voucher. On top of this they also have regular prize draws as a thankyou for participation in their surveys. Surveys have until recently been a rarity but recently this has certainly improved. The surveys we have received have been interesting, unique and relatively easy to complete. They want to be the most open and honest of all the survey sites. The site has been updated recently which indicates that this site is becoming more active which is good. If it continues to improve and show promise it will be moving up our table.

Number 17 - Media Transfer

rated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold stars Media Transfer - invite you to complete surveys by e-mail and then reward you with MT points. Once you have accumulated 100 of these points you can exchange them for Amazon gift vouchers. 100MTs are equivalent to £16. It is a decent survey site and the rewards are well worth the time and effort spent on participating in their surveys, but it seems to take a while to accumulate points because survey invitations have been few and far between for us. We have been a member for two years and have only recently reached the payout limit of 100 MT points. You may of course have a different experience and receive a higher number of invites. One positive aspect to the site is that you normally get rewarded with a few points even if you get screened out of a survey so your time and effort is not wasted.

Number 18 - Nielsen Net Ratings

rated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold stars Nielsen Net Ratings - have been an established provider of surveys for many years in the USA and have recently crossed the Atlantic to the UK. You receive entries into their prize giveaways and chances to win in their instant win rewards game for completing surveys and allowing their simple software to monitor your internet browsing habits. They have a stated privacy policy in case you are worried about the use of such software.

Number 19 - Opinion Square

Your opinion matters at www.OpinionSquare.com! rated 2 gold starrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold stars Opinion SquareOpinion Square - is another website where you are rewarded for participating in surveys with points which are reedeemable for a variety of products and gift certificates, and you will also receive entries into their monthly sweepstakes (cash prize draws). However this site presently seems to be particularly aimed at USA and Canadian residents, although it states that residents from other countries could receive surveys with special incentives...we have received one thus far. In spite of that it seems like a professional site and one at least worth considering.

Number 20 - Permission Research

Win $50,000 CASH rated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated 2 gold starsrated s2 gold starsrated 2 gold stars Permission ResearchPermission Research - is an international online market research community which offers entries into its monthly sweepstakes for participation in their internet usage monitoring programme. As well as these, members can receive points for participating in interesting surveys which are then convertible into a whole array of rewards. This site monitors internet usage and trends through its software that you have to download and online surveys. It also offers members some useful free software downloads such as games and email virus protection as further rewards for participation in its research. A US-based site aimed at US and Canada research.

Paid Survey Sites in the UK we do not currently recommend

These are sites that either appear inactive, untrustworthy or are potential scams.

Number 21 - Pick Them

Pick Them not ratednot ratednot ratednot ratednot rated Pick Them - claims to offer entries into prize draws for completing short surveys online on their website. The site also offers a shopping portal and guides to buying certain products. The survey section, however, currently appears to be a completely inactive part of the site as we have not seen a survey there for perhaps two years. Hopefully it will restart offering opportunities to win prizes effectively for free just for giving your opinion, but the focus here certainly appears to be the shopping portal.

Number 22 - QSample

not ratednot ratednot ratednot ratednot rated QSample - claims to be an international survey website which on the face of it appears to offer good rewards in return for members completing surveys. The site design is a little clumsy and has not been updated in all our time as members of the site. We cannot recommend it until we have received a survey, completed it and received payment for it, and we have been a member for well over two years! It is possibly aimed more at North American users.

Number 23 - Opinionate

not ratednot ratednot ratednot ratednot rated Opinionate - states it will pay up to £3.50 for each online survey you complete. When you have earned £10 or more you can request a payout in cash by paypal, or request a voucher from a named high street retailer, or donate your earnings to charity. We have not received a survey from this site for well over a year and a half so we do not recommend joining it at present. It was active when we joined in 2006, but appears to have come to a grinding halt now. We can understand not qualifying for surveys, but it is not credible when a survey invitation is not received for such a long period of time.

Number 24 - MBS Internet

not ratednot ratednot ratednot ratednot rated MBS Internet - is an American based site that claims to offer you more survey opportunities. It is a short sign up process and the rewards are said to be in the form of cash, prizes and entries into prize draws. Apparently survey opportunites may include the chance to participate in online focus groups as well as normal e-mail invitation online surveys. We signed up to this site over two years ago and have never received a survey invitation, so we cannot recommend it at all! It could be targetted at a US audience, but the design of the site is poor and has not been updated at all since we joined. One to avoid.
